Greetings from BestFlashDrives.com.   We've been waiting a long time to announce something like this, and today it's finally time - a major PC maker, HP, announced on Wednesday that it is launching a new laptop that will be equipped with USB 3.0. 

Let's hope this marks the day that this new super-fast USB protocol finally goes mainstream and becomes available to us, the eagerly awaiting masses (we've been waiting for a good year or two for this!).  

Greetings from BestFlashDrives.com. As another sign of the increasingly ubiquitous nature of USB flash drives, Grundig has just launched several new TV's with USB recording technology built right in. I thought this was pretty cool. Here's how it works: the TV's have a USB port that you can plug a USB flash drive into, and software in the TV enables you to schedule and record shows to watch at a later time, just like a Tivo or DVR, except they're stored on a conveniently small and portable flash drive that you can plug into any other Grundig TV and watch. This adds a whole new dimension to recording shows, namely portability. Plus no more monthly service charges for the DVR service from your cable company, just the cost of a USB drive! Grundig says a flash drive as small as 8GB can store 4 hours worth of programming, or less if you record in high definition, which is also possible with their technology. Greetings from BestFlashDrives.com.  This post if for anyone who has ever struggled with keeping organized between their work computer and their home computer, or their desktop pc and laptop pc, or between any 2 or more computers! If you're like me, you know how aggrevating this can be.

 Well thanks to a great little program called Carry It Easy Plus, I have almost, almost, got this problem solved. 

This program belongs to a category of software called synchronization software.  It runs on a USB flash drive, copying and compressing whatever files on your computer that you select.  Then when you unplug the USB drive from one computer and plug it into another, it will copy down all of the files from your other computer.  And the beauty of it is, every time you make a change in a file on one computer, after you run the sync program with the other computer via the USB drive, presto, you're up-to-date!   You can keep all of your office files synced on both machines (or multiple machines for that matter), your bookmarks in your browser, and even your email (if you're lucky..I'll get to that in a minute).
