Greetings from BestFlashDrives.com! We have been trying to avoid all of the hoopla about the new iPad, but just learned that the device has no USB ports. Which is no surprise really, since it seems to be the same as a rather large iPod Touch, which is nice, but would be a whole lot nicer if it did have a USB port or two. So that our custom printed USB flash drives could be used to transfer data on an off of the iPad. But we're not going to take it personally.
It seems a bit surprising that this new Apple iPad has polarized people so much. It looks like a great device, but many people are trashing it.
A lot of propellerheads seem to want it to have every feature under the sun. Features from devices as diverse as cellphones and computers, they want the iPad to have it all on there.
For example, PC Magazine wants the iPad to be a full computer, writing an article "42 Reasons Why Netbooks Are Better Than the Apple iPad". But why? If people want a small laptop PC, they're going to go out and get one. And actually, most people already have one. But if they want a sleek, lightweight electronic tablet that's easy and convenient to use, that's like an e-reader but more, they're probably going to love an iPad. Apple has again avoided featuritis.
I saw several other articles complaining that the iPad doesn't have a camera. What?! Why in the world would you want a camera on it - you have a camera right on your cellphone, which is always on you and much more easy to point and shoot. And you also have a camera on your camcorder, and a camera on your cam-er-a, remember those? The last thing we need is another device that takes pictures. It would just clutter it up.
So I guess we've entered the fray, but not to trash the iPad. Just to mention that everything, EVERYTHING, is better with a USB port on it. And a bunch of BestFlashDrive.com custom USB flash drives to go with it. What, you didn't read all this way expecting to not get hit-up with another shameless plug for our fantastic products did you?
