Greetings from BestFlashDrives.com. We saw this great article in Canada.com about how the contents of students' backpacks this year is radically different from even just a couple of years ago - so we had to share. And yes, it's a great read not just for those above the 49th parallel but for us Americans too. Hard to imagine, but no longer is the average back-to-school pack filled with notebooks, calculator, pens and highlighters. Today it's a laptop or netbook computer and some USB drives. We've seen this trend at the university level for a couple of years, but now even at the high school and middle school level students are using netbooks and laptops to take notes in class, and then USB drives to share and back up data. As technology prices continue to drop, the trend is traveling to the lower grades. Check out the article and if you need school-branded USB drives check out our website for dozens of great choices. While you're reading, I'll be thinking back to the note-passing days of school and wondering how teachers control all the Facebooking, IMing, etc that's probably going on in class now - lead-lined walls maybe?
